“Cinema paradiso” by Ole Scheeren

“The idea of seeing movies is an emplacement like that is surprising: a screen, placed somewhere between the rocks and the spectators floating in the middle of the sea. The emplacement is magic, a set of islands that appear on the sea as the representation of the force of the land in another very distant epoch. The architecture appears as a collection of modular, freely assembled pieces, as a group of small islands. A congregation of rafts like an audience. An archipelago for the Cinema.”
