“Isabel Geisse seeks to appropriate drawings from his own reinterpretation. She has worked from the university with the topic of urban space, either from installations, drawings, stencil and other techniques. Currently, she works from architectural plans that takes as a graphical representation with function of structural pattern and from the development and research of her own productive technique, which according to her ‘is in the process of development and refinement’.
Her latest works are composed of drawings on paper where she herself invents join architectural and technical plan on acrylic plates where she uses plans chosen for its aesthetics. She relies on add to the image of architectural drawing elements from the imagination of textile aesthetics, job that she develops from three years ago.
In her work, Isabel creates patterns of colors that fill the spaces of the architectural plans, redefining and giving them an identity form the painstaking work of drawing, color plans and shape of small elements that are interacting among them.”
