“French architects Ms Catherine Mosbach and Mr Philippe Rahm have won an international contest to design a US$90 million (S$114 million) urban park in central Taiwan. (…)
The duo, in collaboration with Taiwanese architect Mr Ricky Liu, were picked for an ‘original and forward-looking’ design integrating the concept of climate change into the 68ha park, said the Taichung city government.
They aim to monitor temperature, humidity, and pollution through computer simulations in order to ‘micro-adjust’ the climate and create a ‘smart ecology park’ (…).
